Background: Elliot is a player like his father who is half American, half Hungarian. He doesn’t come from the best background. His father abused both him and his mother, and cheated on his mom whenever he got the chance. Finally, after 14 years of putting up with it, she got a divorce and moved to Amity Park, where she fell into depression and became an alcoholic, neglecting Elliot.
Even after they moved, though, the lessons his father ground into him remained (Except the “real men eat meat” one and the "school is stupid" one), and he dates anyone he can just to get what he wants, whether it be money, sex, or anything in between.
He was trying to get a decent paying job to pay their apartment rent when his mom surprised him with a foreign-exchange-program trip. The irony of it all was not lost on him. He had to go to Southern California for an indefinite amount of time before he was sent back to Amity Park.
Lately, his father has been haunting his mind, and he hasn't really been looking very hard for a girlfriend.
